Show off your best cosplay swimsuit, old or new in a fun and exciting way!

Contest Purpose: To get cosplayers to strut their stuff and have fun doing it! Show us what you think a swimsuit would be for your cosplay, and we'll reward you for it! (Much Credit to Anime Oasis for doing this idea for so many years, only to quit the year I wanted to go. )

Deadline: June 6th, 2009 at Midnight MST

Prizes

1st Place: $50.00 Visa/Cash Prize to the grand prize winner, feature recognition, gift from your wish list or the DA store, plus a years DA subscription.

2nd Place: Year DA Subscription, feature, and an item of $10.00 or less from your wish list, or the DA Store.

3rd Place: 3-month DA Subscription and feature.

THERE IS A WINNER FOR BOTH THE MALE AND FEMALE CATEGORIES.


Rules of entry:

1.All contestants must be age 16+
2.There is to be no NUDITY of any kind. Swimsuit contest means just that, HAVE A SWIMSUIT.
3.ALL entries must be photos.
4.All photos must be less than a year old.
5.Your swimsuit MUST fit the persona of your character in some way, shape, or form.
6.NO PHOTOGRAPHER ENTRIES!!! Though you took the shot, the cosplayer was the one who modeled, made/bought the swimsuit, and deserves the credit.
7.Deviant art members only!! Duh...
8.Photo shopping is allowed within reason...I will be the judge of that reason and will have a good cause as to why a photo was rejected, ie. Location stock image uses are not acceptable while brushes for clouds, flowers, etc to add to the picture are. Don't say you took this picture on a beach, if you weren't really there. =/
9.Crossplay is accepted but you better darn well have your special stuffs covered. =/
10.No flaming of others images.
11.Voting is done on a button basis for all the entries.
12.HAVE FUN! That's the point of this contest! I don't wanna hear anything about jelly rolls, hairy chest, or zits...


How to enter:
1.First of all you will need to send me a note with the title: Contest Entry.
2.Then you will need to send a link to your photograph which is to be on your deviant art page and in the comments you need to have the link to the contest either the news article, blog, etc.
3.Then copy and paste the words below and put it in your comment section as well:
